When it comes to disc golf, Summit County offers a range of courses that cater to all skill levels. From navigating challenging fairways to wide open shots to soaking in the breathtaking mountain scenery, these courses provide a unique outdoor experience. We have courses that are mostly flat, and we have courses that involve hiking as you play. One thing all the courses have in common is great views. We do recommend you bring refreshments with you to ensure you stay hydrated.
Lake Dillon Family Course
Number of holes - 12
Description:
This is a beginner friendly course that is great for everyone from beginners to advanced players alike. The shots are around 200 feet and the course takes about 45 minutes to play. This course also has some nice views and is cart and stroller friendly for the most part.
Directions:
From Silverthorne head South towards Keystone. Turn left on Cemetery Road and turn right at the first opportunity. The first tee is to the right of the practice basket, up a short dirt path.
Lake Dillon
Number of holes - 18
Description:
This course has amazing views of Lake Dillon and the mountains. The course is challenging but provides a lot of variety. There is a lot of elevation gain, some long shots, some short shorts and some blind baskets. This course is definitely worth it. Bring lots of water and some snacks. Expect this to take around 2 hours to play. From the parking lot take the path to the left of the sign ¾ of a mile up to the first tee.

Maryland Creek Park in Silverthorne
Number of holes - 9
Description:
This is a beginner friendly course, with only 2 long holes to provide a little challenge. This is family friendly as it has a playground and dog park in the same area. This course is mostly played on flat ground, with only 2 baskets having elevation changes.
The first hole is just past the dog park. After hole 5 take the trail up the hill to find hole 6 and 7. At hole 7 look to your left to find hole 8. When looking for 9's basket look back towards the edge of the dog park.
Directions:
From the outlet stores head North on Route 9. Turn left on Maryland Creek road and then take your first right past the soccer field.
Arapahoe Basin
Number of holes - 20
Description:
This is an amazing course during the summer months. This course has about a ¼ mile hike to get to the first hole. There is a lot of elevation gain, and the entire course is about 3 miles long. The course is truly amazing as it works it way up, across and the down the ski area.
This is more of a technical course with a variety of tight lines, some open shots and some blind baskets. We suggest you bring plenty of water and some snacks. Expect this course to take around 3 hours to play. When you arrive walk through the main plaza then take the path to the left that starts up the mountain.
Directions:
From Dillon take US 6 East past Keystone until you see a sign for Arapahoe Basin ski area on the right. Take the path to the left of the chair lift and follow signs to the first hole.
Peak One in Frisco
Number of holes - 27, but most people play the first 18 or the last 9. The last 9 are commonly referred to as the new nine.
Description:
Great course that makes good use of trees and rolling terrain. This course also has some great scenery. There are a lot of blind baskets, but tee signs make it easy to see where you are throwing to. There is a mix of long holes and some shorter ones. Expect 18 holes to take about 2 hours.
Directions: From Silverthorne take I70 W to the first Frisco exit. Go around both traffic circles to get on route 9 South. When you reach the stop light turn left onto Recreation way. Park at the baseball field. Walk to the left the fields to get to hole 1.
Copper Mountain
Number of holes - 9
Description:
Copper has a 9 hole course that goes up and around the mountain. Access the disc golf course from Center Village free of charge. The course starts in Center Village, looker's left of the American Eagle lift. Be sure to bring plenty of water and some snacks.
Directions:
From Silverthorne take I-70 West to the Copper Mountain exit. At the first stop light take a right. Take a left on 10 Mile Circle and look for parking. Then head to center village.
